Paul Dravis, Partner, Future Perfect Machine

Paul Dravis focuses on helping organizations address the changing dynamics of finance, technology and the global economy. As a partner at Future Perfect Machine, his work areas include Crypto/Digital Assets & Commerce and Artificial Intelligence in Finance.

 

He has worked with organizations such as the World Bank, Microsoft Corp., SAP AG, Silicon Valley Bank, Government of Jordan, RCM Global Investors, Banc of America Securities, Robertson Stevens and Co. and others as a software developer, business strategist, investor and more.

Reuben Bramanthan, Portfolio Manager, Coinbase Asset Management

Reuben Bramanathan is Product Lead and Portfolio Manager at Coinbase Asset Management, a division of Coinbase which offers cryptocurrency Index Funds. Reuben led the creation of Coinbase Index and manages the operations of Coinbase's funds. He is a former lawyer who has advised clients on the legal and regulatory aspects of bitcoin and blockchain technology since 2014. Reuben wrote and lectured the world's first postgraduate course on the Regulation of Digital Currency, at the University of Nicosia, and co-authored the industry-leading legal research paper The Blockchain Token Securities Law Framework. He holds degrees in Economics and Law from Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, Australia. 

 


 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Taariq Lewis, CEO and Founder, Aquila

Taariq Lewis has launched a number of successful Bitcoin businesses and blockchain developer initiatives that help bring Bitcoin and blockchain engineering to a global audience. As founder of Silicon Valley startups, Serica and Aquila, Taariq is responsible for leading the first commercial Bitcoin2.0 platform, linking valuable hard and soft financial assets to the blockchain. Serica’s healthcare payment application, SericaPay, is the largest alternative payments platform to serve California patients unable to acquire critical medicine via non-cash payment rails. From 2014 – 2016, Taariq was the lead organizer for the largest San Francisco community of Bitcoin engineers, SF Bitcoin Devs, a critical fixture of the Silicon Valley bitcoin and blockchain engineering community. Taariq’s financial services background includes successful analyst work at Goldman Sachs and Knight Capital. His digital money career started at American Banknote Corporation, the first official company commissioned by the US government to print stamps, stock certificates, and currencies. Austin Trombley CTO, VaultBank

Austin Trombley is an avid data engineer, data scientist, and blockchain engineer with over a decade of consulting & leadership experience for 7 fortune 500 companies. He most recently started a quantitative hedge fund that was acquired by Franklin Templeton, where he is now the Vice President of Financial Innovation. A year ago he also started the blockchain company VaultBank that has made waves by tokenizing securities on it's cryptocurrency exchange.

 

 

 

Eric Ervin, Co-founder and CEO, Reality Shares, Inc.

Eric is the Co-founder and CEO of Reality Shares, an award-winning ETF issuer and index provider. Eric has guided the firm from being exclusively focused on dividend growth strategies to being a trailblazer and innovator in the blockchain technology investment space. Under Eric’s leadership, Reality Shares launched the world’s first passive ETF focused on the global blockchain technology ecosystem (Ticker: BLCN), and the company will be the first to launch a China-focused blockchain ETF. Eric is a frequent blockchain commentator on CNBC, FOX Business, CNN, and The Street, and he is regularly featured as a blockchain thought leader in Barron’s, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, and U.S. News & World Report (among other media outlets and publications). Most recently, Eric is guiding the firm to launch a cryptocurrency robo-advisor tool in the second half of 2018, providing an easy-to-use platform for anyone to invest in cryptocurrencies and to manage their cryptocurrency portfolio.

Eric has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, including 14 years as a Certified Financial Planner practitioner and a Chartered Financial Consultant. Prior to founding Reality Shares, Eric worked at Morgan Stanley, where he built the highly-recognized Ervin Miller Group wealth management franchise. He also worked at Citigroup, Smith Barney, and Morgan Stanley.

For leisure, Eric enjoys traveling the country, hitting the mountain slopes alongside his son, who competes in downhill biking at the semipro level.
